Over the last 25 years Florence Habitat has built 30 homes, rehabbed 4 homes giving 34 families a safe stable affordable place to call home. At Habitat for Humanity, we build. We build because we believe that everyone, everywhere should have a healthy, affordable place to call home. When a family helps build or improve a place they can call home, they are also building a better community, a better life for themselves.

Affordable Housing

Families in need of affordable housing live everywhere, small towns and villages, sprawling cities, your community. A majority of Americans believe that it is challenging to find affordable quality housing in their communities and more than half of all adults say they have made at least one trade-off in order to cover their rent or mortgage. 

Habitat works with families to help them acquire the access, skills and financial education necessary for them to be successful homeowners. By partnering with us, families seize the opportunity to get decent, affordable housing. Through shelter, we empower.

We have building materials, tools, paint, furniture, lighting, home decor and maybe that thingamajig you have been looking for!
