A BRUSH WITH KINDNESS
This A Brush with Kindness program provides exterior home preservation, including yard maintenance and minor repairs, for eligible owner-occupied homes, helping residents remain in safe housing.
Household income must be within the 2026 HUD AMI matrix.

Ramps & Rails
Ramps & Rails Program will include exterior handicap accessibility modifications (wheelchair ramps and handrails) and minor exterior home repairs when needed for accessibility into the home. Ramps & Rails is NOT an emergency repair program; there will be a waiting period for repair work to be done. Call us to discuss your needs. Click below for an Application for Intent.
WOMEN BUILD
Every March, join us for an empowering, hands-on Women Build event as we come together to get hands-on experience with power tools & building.
No experience necessary — just a willingness to learn, connect, and make a difference in our community.
The cost includes lunch, a t-shirt, instruction and materials to create and take a project.

TOOL TRAILER
The Tool Box is a mobile tool library which provides access to the tools needed in order to help maintain neighborhoods, build community and help with exterior beautification and home maintenance. Groups can request for deployment to neighborhoods.

SMOKE DETECTOR REPLACEMENT
Florence Habitat has partnered with the American Red Cross to install free smoke alarms as part of the Home Fire Campaign, helping families stay safe from the daily threat of home fires. Together, we’re making local households safer and more prepared to act quickly in an emergency.
